• Employment Type: TravelWe are seeking an experienced ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night Shift schedule (3x12 hours per week). This role is ideal for a skilled professional specializing in progressive care, managing critically stable yet high-acuity patients transitioning from intensive care.
  
  Roles and Responsibilities:
  Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU Stepdown patients, ensuring continuous monitoring and early intervention for complications.
  Assess and manage patients requiring high-flow oxygen, cardiac monitoring, and titrated drips under stepdown-level protocols.
  Collaborate with ICU, ER, and Med-Surg teams to facilitate seamless patient transitions and optimize recovery outcomes.
  Utilize evidence-based protocols to manage post-surgical, cardiac, and respiratory distress patients.
  Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  
  Requirements:
  Experience: Minimum 2+ years in ICU Stepdown or Progressive Care settings.
  Certifications: ACLS, BLS required.
  Licensure: Active RN license (state-specific or compact).
  Other Details: Must be proficient in critical care protocols, patient assessment, and early deterioration identification.
