Weekly Pay Range - $2775 To $3084 Job Title: PET CT Technologist Job Specialty: PET CT Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 1-2 years PET/PET CT imaging experience License: State license as required Certifications: - Certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (RT-N)) - CPR certification Must-Have: - High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred - Venipuncture certification - Valid state driver's license (if applicable) Job Description: - Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection techniques. - Ensure radiation safety and compliance with regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with radioactive materials/patients. - Produce high-quality diagnostic images. - Communicate effectively with customers and/or radiologists. - Train new technologists and personnel. - Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment, including monitors and PACS. - Local travel may be required.
