We are looking for Monitor Techs to join our growing team in Fresno/Clovis CA. From assessing normal and abnormal ECG interval measurements, to proper and improper pacemaker rhythms, to implantable defibrillator function, you will be responsible for observing, monitoring, reviewing and documenting each patient's cardiac rhythm. Differentiate between lethal and non-lethal arrhythmias and notifies the RN promptly of any arrhythmias. You will also review patients' cardiac medication profiles, notify the nursing and medical staff of heart rhythm pattern variances or ECG interval variances that represent adverse reactions or toxic effects of medications. Your qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Recognition or ECG/EKG interpretation course, and 1 year of Unit Clerk experience. Licenses and certifications include BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) and ECG - ECG Rhythm Exam Non-Clinical (Administered by CHS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
